Pastoral Care

My Memorial

Planning a memorial service for a loved one who has passed away can be stressful as the family tries to remember all that the person would have wanted. You can make it easier for them. The Pastoral Care Team has designed a form called My Memorial. This is a form that you can fill out and give to a family member if you'd like to help them make decisions about your memorial service.

Copies of this form are located at the Connect Centre at Bethany Chapel or download it here.

Bethany Chapel is pleased to offer Pastoral Care within our church family
Pastoral Care exists to empower people to walk in wholeness and strength, enabling them to fulfill the purposes of God for their lives within the Bethany body and the larger community. We believe that wellness is a matter of the whole person - body, mind and spirit.

Pastoral Care includes supporting each other through prayer during illness or difficult circumstances, visiting those who are in hospital or are no longer able to make it to service, and practically helping those within the Bethany family through our Helping Hands team.

Prayer
If you, or someone you know, has a prayer need, please let us know. You can email us or contact the office @ (403) 249-8605. The specific prayer request can be shared through our weekly Prayer E-Newsletter if that is desired.

Our Visitation Team
This team visits and prays with those who are ill or are unable to make it to church on Sundays.

The support you need.
Information you can trust.

Unless you've been there, it's hard to understand the hurt that comes from separation and divorce. That's why many of your friends and family don't fully understand what you are going through and don't know how best to help you.

We do. Our DivorceCare group is led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we've been in the same place. We'll show you how to deal with the hurt caused by your separation or divorce.

DivorceCare is a support group that meets weekly. You are welcome to begin attending our DivorceCare group at any point.
