Jesus Christ is the center and head of Bethany (1 Peter 5:4; Hebrews 13:20; Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18, 2:10, 18, 19). The essence of the Elders' responsibility is to seek His direction in governing, guiding, and caring for the spiritual needs of the church. The Deacons’ responsibility is to provide direction for financial and operational aspects to ensure that the material needs of the facility and its people are effectively cared for.

Pastoral Staff

Our pastoral staff are responsible for equipping the people of Bethany for serving and ministering to each other and to our community. In the Bible in Ephesians 4:11-13 we read: "It was Jesus Christ who gave some in the church to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers to equip God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ might be built up."
