gOOD FOOD BOX
Through our partnership with Community Kitchen, we are able to offer fresh fruit and vegetables at a price much less than what you would pay at the grocery store.
Bethany Chapel is a depot, in southwest Calgary, for the Community Kitchen Good Food Box program. We collect payment for orders, forward them to Community Kitchen, and provide the facility for you to pick-up your box on the designated date.

Three sizes are available for purchase:
- Small – $35 (approx. 20 lbs/9kg)
- Medium – $40 (approx. 30 lbs/13.5 kg)
- Large – $45 (approx. 40 lbs/18 kg)

You may complete a paper form and pay by debit during office hours at Bethany.
Please note that we are closed on Fridays.
The information you provide as to who will be benefitting from the box is shared on an aggregate basis with Community Kitchen. This allows them, as well as their sponsors, to understand the demographics of who is accessing this program.

Note: Our cut-off date is earlier than what appears on Community Kitchen’s Good Food Box site as their date is the date we have to place our order by and we must submit payment to them prior to taking delivery of the boxes.
pick-up guidelines and dates
You may pick-up your box at the church after 11:00 am on the delivery date. A label, with your name on it, will be placed on your box. Please ensure you collect the correct box prior to leaving and sign for your box.
